Congratulations to Jackie K! She is the winner of the beautiful JillyBean Dreams pillowcase dress and diaper changing pad from my Komen 3-day fundraiser this week. She’s a work friend without a little one of her own (yet), so I know she’ll enjoy finding a nice home for the lovely gifts. Congrats, Jackie!
Here are a few pics from the 3-Day Expo that Mandy and I attended a few weeks ago. We learned about blister management (wahoo), what to pack, what to expect, and more. All in all, it was a nice few hours spent together getting pumped about the whole event!
Ah, the costumes. These Komen people really like their costumes!

You all also may know that I participated in a fabulous fundraiser a couple of weeks ago that helped me reach my fundraising goal. Yay! I’ve met my minimum requirement! Everything else is just more $$ toward research efforts. Here are some pics from the amazing fundraiser sponsored by 4 fabulous female photographers. They held bourdoir (ooo la la!) sessions as the home studio of Lynn Michelle Photography for a bargain basement price and we all had an amazing time! If and when I can loose some (well, a lot) of weight, I’m doing some myself. Seriously. These women left the studio with the greatest self-esteem booth, loving every inch of their body no matter the size and shape. Love it!
Lynn has so many wonderful accessories and props at her studio. Here’s Mandy modeling the rose petal sheet…
Goody bags!

One of Lynn’s studio shooting rooms. The whole 2nd floor of her home is practically studio space. Its AMAZING!
An example of Lynn’s work…she’s amazing and has been on theknot.com and all sorts of stuff:

Make-up is insane to me! Can you believe how different I look? She is a true amazing artist. However, I’ve got to say that I like the no-make-up me better :). I guess that’s why I don’t ever wear make-up!
LOVE the 2nd base shirt! That is too cute.
ReplyDeleteLooks like y'all had a great time! What an awesome thing.
