Film Follies!
Lovin' the slide at the neighborhood playground:
Is it any surprise that this is her first song to sing?? (it took us 4 tries to get this on camera...she sang it for about an hour but, of course, stopped as soon as she saw the familiar red light!)
Got some more to share, but the post isn't wanting to add additional videos...apparently one CAN have too much Bridget :)
Two-word Christmas!
My attempt at fitting as much as possible into as few posts as I can. Only two words per photo. It’s not as easy as I thought (though I thought it would be tough for a quick typer like myself). Enjoy!

HO, HO, Howdy!!
The week before Santa’s big day, we were to meet “the Germans (aka Jonathan’s sister, Heather, and her family who all live in Germany)” at the Gaylord for some Christmas decoration hunting as well as meet up with Lyd and Oli, too, since we had some things we needed to exchange and G-town is a nice middle ground (well, much closer to me, but who’s counting). Unfortunately, the day just got away from Heather and the team so it ended up just being us and the Evans…still plenty of WHEEEE!
This has become B’s signature pose in her everyday stroller. Here she is last week, and also her in July when we got all dolled up to see the Alice in Wonderland Gaylord exhibit. Such a lazy noodle!
Hi, Friends! Isn’t Oliver’s tricycle stroller the coolest? Mommy Bridget wants one so badly!
A few minutes after we arrived, Jonathan got a surprise tap on the shoulder….The Lindquists! We hadn’t seen these long lost friends in about a year (that’s what babies will do to you) and they just happened to be staying at the hotel for a fun night out together and saw us wandering. It was so great to catch up with these lovely friends!
“A day or two ago, I thought I’d take a ride…and soon Miss Bridgey Bride was sitting by my side”
This is the balcony where my wedding photographer snapped one of my favorite bridal portraits. So much fun!
Notice poor Oli’s black ‘n’ blue? Ah, the joys of early walkers…too adventuresome for their own good!
Who wouldn’t want to snuggle by the fire with this Christmas angel?? Warm fuzzies to all!

The Ghosts of Christmas Past (but not scary!)
Well, Christmas always brings back so many memories for me now because it was during this season that we were surprised with our news of Bridget. Let’s see how things have fared over the past few years…
Here I am, mid-December 2008, living it up and not having a clue what’s to come in my life. Little did I know, I actually did have plenty of extra down time in my life! I attended a bachelorette party for a friend of Julie’s at a wine bar in Plano…yup, had the mom guilt for sure once I found out about Baby Adamo…but she seems to be pretty resilient :).
A week or so later we took our regular flight to Woodland Park, CO to meet my family and celebrate the season. I was suffering from “altitude sickness” and later found out what was really going on in this crazy body.
More drinks to feel guilty about in hindsight…but we were at the Golden Bee!
Ringing the bell in the tower of the Pioneer Museum. If you know the story, you know that Jonathan and I had the house to ourselves for 5 days after my family went home and the two of us got time to have the whole “baby thing” sink in. This was one of the first activities we did upon finding out :)
Driving down scenic Rampart Range Road (the original way to get from Woodland Park down to Colorado Springs before they built the pass. It takes about 2.5 hours, instead of the 25 minutes the pass allows. However, when the pass closes due to weather, RRR is still open…and super scary!)
We drove down into town to say goodbye to my Grandparents before flying home and as we left they said, “when are we going to hear about great-grandbabies??”. It was all we could do to keep our secret! Ah, memories!
Well, that was 2008. Here’s some of my favorite memories from 2009:
Little Baby Bambi’s for my baby’s 1st Colorado Christmas!
A snowy Texas Christmas! Anyone expecting this again in 2010??
My sweet furry baby playing in her first snow:
I’m a little sad that Uncle Cory won’t be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with us this year, but he’s got this own person to spend it with this time. Yay for Cory!
We'd finally realized why B was being such a crazy stinker during our Colorado visit last Christmas, but unfortunately it took us pretty much the whole week to discover the problem (and subsequent solution). Any guesses as to what dilemma we'd finally been introduced to last year??? Check out this video (our entire flight home was like this) and you'll see. Tylenol became our new miracle drug!
One of my favorite memories. Bridget gave us some of her first official giggles on Christmas Eve last year right before we put her to bed. She's truly our Winter angel!
